Trotters

Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. About Trotters

Trotters operates a non-custodial provider dispatch platform. We connect customers with independent service providers. Trotters is not a party to any agreement between customers and providers — we facilitate the connection, not the service.

2. Non-custodial payments

Trotters does not hold, process, or transmit customer funds. Payments are made directly between customers and providers using Cashu ecash tokens. Trotters collects provider fees at the point of payment but never takes custody of customer funds.

3. Provider responsibilities

Providers are independent operators, not employees of Trotters. Providers are responsible for the quality and legality of their services, maintaining appropriate insurance and licences, and complying with all applicable UK laws and regulations.

4. Dispute resolution

Disputes between customers and providers should be resolved directly between the parties. Trotters provides a dispute flagging mechanism within the TROTT protocol but does not arbitrate disputes or issue refunds.

5. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
